Teams registration is free and available for all teams, apply now! Completing this application to reserve your team's participation in the league

All student drone soccer teams are welcome regardless of nationality or league affiliation, participation is not mutually exclusive. Teams of 5-10 participants not including coaches and chaperones, roster must be co-educational (both men and women) and currently enrolled as students:

• 20cm competition is open to secondary students in middle or high school (ages approximately 12-18).

Rules are based on all international standards for the sport. A complete downloadable PDF of the Academic World Cup Team Information Manual can be found at the bottom of this webpage. Note: A physical copy of the Academic World Cup Team Information Manual will be given to all teams participating in the 2025 World Cup.

Aircraft are allowed from any manufacturer, including custom built. Must comply with one of the following aircraft classifications:

• STANDARD (FAI Class B) - 20cm 300g according to published FAI standards

Other sizes will not be included this year:

• COLLEGIATE (FAI Class A) - 40cm 1.1kg according to published FIDA standards
• MICRO (FAI Class C & FIDA) - 20cm 100g aircraft intended for young children will not be included in the competition.
