Teams registration is on a first come first serve basis, apply now! Completing this application will reserve your team's participation at the ADSWC in San Diego from April 22-25th, 2024. Final team rosters, season records, scholarship applications, and registration fees are due by March 15th, 2024.
Rules are based on all international standards for the sport. The rules have been updated from what many USA teams are used to. A complete PDF can be downloaded by clicking on this link.
The registration cost is $165 per student, due by March 15th. We are seeking sponsors to assist with supporting costs for student teams.
Students and teachers will be able to attend workshops and presentations from leading aerospace companies and university programs. All students should bring business casual attire, and older students ready for internships or employment should prepare copies of their resume or curriculum vitae. Companies interested in sponsoring, providing awards, or presenting should contact the Planning Committee.
Aircraft are allowed from any manufacturer, including custom built. Must comply with one of the following aircraft classifications:
Micro 20cm 100g aircraft intended for young children will not be included in the competition.
All student drone soccer teams are welcome regardless of nationality or league affiliation, participation is not mutually exclusive. Teams of 5-10 participants not including coaches and chaperones, roster must be co-educational (both men and women) and currently enrolled as students:
Registration will open for all teams on January 8th, 2024. Teams will be expected to submit a short video presentation highlighting their team's preparation and how their skills apply to future aerospace careers. Team achievements, research, competition records, and/or league rankings will be utilized to determine Group Stage seeding. Teams will be notified of their selection with an invitation letter in 3-5 business days.
Teams should plan to arrive on Monday, April 22nd with optional check-in and reception that evening. Competition begins Tuesday morning the 23rd and will conclude by 3pm on the 25th. Discounted group rate lodging is available.
Events will take place near the San Diego Air & Space Museum in Balboa Park. Group rate rooms are available near Mission Valley at approximately $180 per night, and other recommended areas include Liberty Station and Point Loma.
